Together with Inger Uberg, Emma Fagerström, and Yngvild Ruud a new children’s concert is taking form! We just received our first funding from Nordisk Kulturfond and this concert about losing something or someone will see the light next year. We are looking very much forward to working with this!
A project come to it’s conclusion with me performing two new commissioned concerts for the Eagle recorder by Swedish composers Johan Blixt and Gustav Lindsten. The concert will be given twice first with the premier February 13th and secondly at Sunday February 17th at Skeppsholmen in the center of Stockholm. The String quintet consists of handpicked musicians based in Stockholm.
I will be playing Johan Blixt’s Konversationer which is in eight movements for Eagle recorder, string quintet and electronics and Gustav Lindsten’s Deus ex machina for the same ensemble.
Two concerts will be given, the first at Wednesday February 13th and the second Sunday February 17th at Kulturfyren at the beautiful island of Skeppsholmen in the middle of Stockholm. The concerts are kindly supported by Föreningen för Svenska Tonsättare, Helge Ax:son Johnsons Stiftelse and Gertrude och Ivar Philipsons Stiftelse.
